Chasqui also publishes book reviews, book review essays, and film reviews. All submissions must be theoretically grounded and appropriately documented. Especially encouraged are submissions on newer areas of Latin American culture, such as photography, performance art, urban studies, and ethnic issues. Description: Chasqui: revista de literatura latinoamericana publishes scholarly essay on all aspects of Latin American cultural studies, although its primary commitment remains literature.
